Demonstration

We have set up a simple demonstration site to allow you to experiment with a ^TCSWebsite. Although the site is small and contains only a limited selection of functionality, for demonstration purposes, it will allow you to try out the basics of this sophisticated product.

To use the administration area that controls the site’s content, please click here. The administration area will also open in a new browser window.

In the administration area you should first click "Applications" - on the next screen click on " Website Admin ". You will now see a list of the pages the site contains.

From here you may add, edit and delete pages within the site. All the changes you make will show straight away on the public side of the web site – you can check this by going to the public side and pressing the "Refresh" button on your browser.

Feel free to experiment with the functionality of the site - create and edit pages, try the layout functions ... do anything you like, in fact! Create a whole new site if you wish ...And don’t worry, the changes you make will only last for one hour and the site will then revert back to the original content.

You will find the ^TCSWebsite simple and logical to use. Of course, full instructions are provided when you buy a ^TCSWebsite and training courses are also available if needed. In the meantime, here are a few pointers to get you started:
 

Add / Edit / Remove pages:

 

A - Click here to add a new page to the site.

B - Click here to edit the filename of your page.

C - Click here to edit the content of the page.

D - Click here to edit the name of your page as it appears on the menu of the site.

E - Specify where the name of your page appears on the site menu by moving it up or down the list.

F - Delete your page by clicking here.

G – Choose to make pages available online, or make them temporarily offline

 

Editing the content of your pages:

A - Add images to your page by clicking here.

B - Create hyperlinks by clicking here.

C - Preview / Save / Cancel your changes with these buttons.

D - Users who feel confident using html coding may use this checkbox to view and edit the page source code, as an alternative to the standard WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) mode.
